Our group was ready to present a plan for the school festival. Then Yuto sent a message: “I have a fever. I can't come today.” He had prepared the first part, so we had to change our plan quickly.
Instead of blaming him, we opened the shared notes. Sara offered to explain Yuto's idea. I moved one picture to the beginning because it made the plan easier to follow. Ken, who did not enjoy speaking, drew a simple diagram for our final point.
We were nervous when our turn came. Still, everyone had a clear job. Afterward, Yuto wrote, “Thanks for including my idea.” Our presentation was different from the one we had practiced, but it still felt like our team's work.
