Hi everyone,
Our welcome team finished the school map today. At first, we drew every classroom and club room. The page looked complete, but two new students told us they still could not find what they needed.
So we asked them to walk around with us. One wanted to know where to fill a water bottle. The other asked for the easiest route to the library without stairs. We added both places and marked a route with a thick blue line. We also used clear symbols instead of long labels.
The new map has less information, but it answers more useful questions. Tomorrow, we will let the students try it without our help. If they get lost, we will change it again.

于是，我们请他们和我们一起在校园里走走。一位想知道哪里可以给水瓶接水；另一位想找一条不用爬楼梯就能到图书馆的便捷路线。我们把这两处地点补上，并用一条粗蓝线标出路线；还用清楚的图标替换了冗长的文字标签。
新地图上的信息少了，却回答了更多有用的问题。明天，我们会请新生不靠我们帮忙自己试用。如果他们仍然迷路，我们就再改。
