The bell rang once, and everyone stood up. We thought lunch break was starting. Then it rang again, longer than usual.
"Is there a drill today?" Mika asked.
Our teacher opened the door and listened to the announcement. "There is a problem with the kitchen," he said. "Lunch will be ten minutes late, so please stay in the classroom."
Some students looked disappointed, but Ryo raised his hand. "Can we use the time to finish our group poster?"
Ten minutes was not long, but it was enough to choose our title.
