“Are you okay?” asks Yui.

“I’m fine,” says Sora. His voice is quiet, and his expression looks sad. The word “fine” can suggest different feelings.

Yui does not push him. “I can listen when you are ready to talk.”

“Thanks. Can we talk afterward?” Sora says.

Yui gives him space, but she asks again after class. This time, Sora tells her about a problem at home.
